From The Author
Hi, I’m Steven Blanshan, the author of A Worm Named Hank. I would like to personally thank you for taking the time to read the reviews section of this wonderful children’s book, designed for kids between the ages of 7 and 12.
A Worm Named Hank has been given some pretty exciting praise since it’s publishing, but most often I hear the word “funny”. During the writing of the book I found myself laughing out loud and when it passed the ultimate test of making our four children laugh, I knew we had something special.
I hope you enjoy your very own copy of A Worm Named Hank and please feel free to leave a review of what your child thought of the book. But only if it’s positive. If it’s negative I will sick Todd on you.
Have a wonderful day and please continue to encourage your children to read, read, and read some more. There isn’t enough imagination in the world today.
-Steve Blanshan
A Mom Gives A Review (Yea, so it’s the author’s mom, but that still counts right?)
I have just started reading A Worm Named Hank (even though it’s not out yet, being the authors mother does have its privileges) I just want to say that the book is awesome and not only the children but adults will enjoy this book also, it has a lot of good clean humor, mystery and adventure.
-Linda Blanshan, Awesome Mom
Funny? Good Tone? We’ll Take It!!
A Worm Named Hank is very funny! I love the narrator’s tone — exactly right for 7-11-year-old kids

Doesn’t Disappoint
This is such a charming novel. I tend to enjoy episodic novels, and this one didn’t disappoint.
-Lisa Rojany Buccieri, Author of “Alice in Wonderland: Down The Rabbit Hole”
Wanting More Than Just A Sneak Peak
I love what I have read so far on the website. When will it be published so I can get more? Hank has a voice that I’m sure all kids are going to L-O-V-E!
-Erin From California
About the “Burpday Party” in A Worm Named Hank
“So Funny!! The only thing I thought would have made it better was adding more exclamation points!!!”
-Ella, Nine Year Old from Daphne Elementary School
